- Description
The ABB 2CSA255901R9105 (S-ARC1 B10) is a 1P+N arc fault detection device with an integrated 10 A curve-B miniature circuit breaker in a 2-module housing, combining short-circuit, overload and arc-fault protection on one 230-240 V AC final circuit. It detects series, parallel and earth arc faults alongside standard overcurrent tripping, with a 7.5 kA ultimate breaking capacity (Icu).

Selection Notes
A 10 A rating sizes this S-ARC1 for lighting and small socket circuits where the AFDD function covers arc-fault risks that overload and short-circuit protection alone cannot catch. The curve-B trip characteristic (3-5x In instantaneous magnetic trip) matches resistive and lightly inductive loads typical of these circuits. A fire protection switch function is built in, so no separate residual device is needed to meet AFDD requirements on this circuit.
