- Description
Six amps is the lowest rating in the ABB DS-ARC1 B-curve line, and the 2CSA255103R1065 DS-ARC1 B6 A30 delivers it as a 1P+N arc fault detection device with integrated RCBO, 30 mA Type A sensitivity and 7.5 kA breaking capacity. In three DIN-rail modules it protects one lightly loaded final circuit against overcurrent, short-circuit, earth-fault and arc-fault conditions.

Selection Notes
This 6 A rating fits a lightly loaded circuit, such as a single lighting point or control circuit, where the higher-current 10, 13, 16 or 20 A versions in the same B-curve line would be oversized for the conductor being protected. The B curve's 3-to-5 times In magnetic trip assumes a resistive, low-inrush load; a 6 A circuit feeding a small motor or transformer should use the C6 A30 version instead.
