Selection Notes

At 8 A, this C-curve breaker trips instantaneously at 5-10x In, enough margin for small transformer or lighting-ballast inrush without nuisance tripping. The AC/DC rating lets 2CDS271061R0084 protect a 220 V DC control circuit as well as a 230 V AC branch, provided the DC terminals are wired with correct polarity. For higher branch currents, the same S201M-C frame runs up to 63 A; size the breaker to the load rather than defaulting to this rating.
