- Description
The ABB SCU200 (SKU 2CCG001158R0001) is the control unit at the core of the InSite Pro M Compact energy management system, drawing 0.7 A at 24 V. It gathers data from up to 32 flat-cable field devices (current sensors, I/O modules or smart auxiliaries) plus Modbus RTU/TCP partners, and exposes that data over Ethernet, RS485 or a REST API for third-party monitoring.

Selection Notes
SCU200 is the control unit for the InSite Pro M Compact ecosystem; its communication interface list (Ethernet, RS485, InSite bus) covers wired integrations without a wireless option. Choose this wired variant when the panel already has structured cabling to a switch or RS485 bus and a Wi-Fi link is unnecessary or restricted by the installation's network policy. Current draw stays at 0.7 A regardless of which field devices are attached, since the InSite bus powers the sensors and I/O modules separately from the controller's own small Ethernet/RS485 workload.
