- Description
The ABB SCU200-W (SKU 2CCG001157R0001) is the wireless-enabled control unit for the InSite Pro M Compact energy management system, drawing 0.7 A at 24 V. Alongside Ethernet, RS485 and InSite bus, it adds Wi-Fi connectivity, and it still gathers data from up to 32 flat-cable field devices plus Modbus RTU/TCP partners, exposing it over a REST API for third-party monitoring.

Selection Notes
The -W suffix adds Wi-Fi to the same InSite bus and Ethernet/RS485 interfaces as the base control unit, so the functional ceiling (32 flat-cable devices, 16 Modbus RTU, 16 Modbus TCP) is identical. Choose SCU200-W when the panel location has no structured cabling run to a switch and a wireless link to the plant network is acceptable from a cybersecurity standpoint. Supply current stays 0.7 A at 24 V, the same as the wired-only variant, since the radio draws from the same small controller budget.
