It uses a pluggable connector like the rest of the S500-eCo I/O family, wires 1-wire per channel, and mounts on the AC500-eCo PLC backplane in an IP20 housing.

Its 2 channels cover either voltage or current signals at 12-bit resolution, which suits standard 0-10V or 4-20mA actuator commands rather than high-precision control loops. The pluggable connector keeps field wiring intact when the module itself needs to be swapped.
