Selection Notes

At the top of this frame's current range, 1600 A, the Ekip Dip LI release on this breaker provides long-time overload and instantaneous short-circuit protection without a short-time delay stage, so it trips as soon as the instantaneous threshold is crossed rather than waiting out a graded delay. It is supplied as the withdrawable moving part (WMP), racking into a cradle rather than bolting in fixed. Three poles leave the neutral unswitched. For coordination below a main breaker at the same 1600 A rating, the LSI release is the variant to choose instead of this LI unit.
