Selection Notes
At 800 A, Ekip Dip LI provides long-time overload and instantaneous short-circuit protection without the short-time delay stage of an LSI release, so this breaker clears a fault immediately once the instantaneous threshold is reached. It is the withdrawable moving part (WMP), racking into a cradle for isolation and replacement rather than bolting in fixed. Three poles leave the neutral unswitched, appropriate where N does not need to be broken. For selective coordination below a downstream breaker at the same 800 A rating, the LSI release is the one to specify.
