Selection Notes
Bolted to the busbars via rear horizontal terminals, this 6300 A E6.2H breaker delivers 100 kA breaking capacity. Its Ekip Dip LSI release is the three-function version — L (overload, long-time), S (short-time delay), I (instantaneous) — so the breaker can hold a developing downstream fault open long enough for a smaller device to trip first. That selectivity makes it the right choice for an incomer or bus-tie, not a feeder end-point; where instantaneous clearing matters more than selectivity, the Ekip Dip LI sibling at the same 6300 A rating is the one to specify. At the H short-circuit performance level, Icu stays a flat 100 kA across the full 400-690 V AC range; if the prospective fault current here runs higher than that, move up to the V-class sibling, rated 150 kA at 400-440 V AC. With a fourth pole, the neutral is also switched — rated at 50% of the phase current, enough for TN distribution where the neutral carries only unbalance load.
