Selection Notes
This 1600 A, four-pole breaker is the fixed (F F) build: front, bolted terminals and a permanent busbar connection rather than a withdrawable cradle. Ekip Dip LSI's short-time delay stage, backed by 42 kA Icw for 1 s, lets it stay closed through a downstream fault so a smaller breaker can clear first — the standard approach for a main incomer above a coordinated distribution board. Four-pole switching covers the neutral, relevant on TN-S or TT systems. At 201 W, its power loss is roughly half that of the withdrawable (WMP) version at the same 1600 A rating, worth noting for enclosure thermal design.
