Selection Notes
The S stage in Ekip Dip LSI adds a short-time delay ahead of the instantaneous trip, so this 1000 A breaker can hold through a downstream fault for up to 1 s at its 42 kA Icw rating while a smaller breaker clears first — useful as a main incomer above selectively coordinated feeders. The fixed, front-terminal (F F) build bolts directly into the panel busbar rather than racking in and out, which suits installations where the breaker will not need to be isolated for maintenance without a panel shutdown. Four poles switch the neutral as well as the three phases, relevant on TN-S or TT systems where neutral disconnection is required. Pick the 1250 A or 1600 A frame siblings if the incoming current exceeds 1000 A; the breaking capacities stay the same across the E1.2C range.
