Selection Notes
1SDA071221R1 uses an Ekip Dip LI release - long-time overload (L) plus instantaneous (I) only, with no adjustable short-time delay stage - so it clears a short circuit as soon as the instantaneous threshold is crossed rather than holding off for selective coordination with a downstream device. That trade-off comes with the V performance class, the highest in the E4.2 frame at 150 kA Icu and 100 kA Icw for 1 s, which suits it to high-fault-level incomers where clearing speed matters more than staged selectivity. The fixed, rear horizontal (F HR) terminals bolt straight to busbars; choose the LSI-release variant instead when the installation needs the adjustable short-time stage for coordination.
