Selection Notes
The E1.2 frame at performance level B gives this breaker a 42 kA ultimate breaking capacity (Icu) at 400 V AC, with the Ekip Dip LSI release combining long-time overload (L), short-time delay (S) and instantaneous (I) protection in one electronic unit. The 42 kA / 1 s short-time withstand current (Icw) means it can hold through a fault for a full second, which is what lets it run as a main incomer with selective coordination against downstream MCCBs instead of tripping instantaneously. Being the fixed (F) version with front (F) terminals, it bolts directly into a switchboard without the draw-out mechanism of a withdrawable unit — pick the withdrawable version only where the installation needs breaker removal without de-energizing the busbars.
