- Description
Rated 1600 A over 3 poles with a 65 kA, 0.1 s short-time withstand, the ABB 1SCA153628R1001 (OXB1600E3X3QT) is a TruONE automatic transfer switch built to transfer a load between two independent sources. The Level 3 LCD controller gives on-site visibility into transfer events, and the QT layout brings supply cables in at the top with the load exiting at the bottom.

Selection Notes
This 1600 A, 3-pole TruONE belongs in the largest frame covered here and fits a main-incomer role ahead of downstream distribution. Its X (3-pole) build keeps the neutral unswitched; specify the S (4-pole) variant instead where the neutral must open with the phases. The Level 3 LCD controller sits between the base DIP-switch Level 2 and the full Level 4 touchscreen, giving a display for transfer events without the added interface complexity. The QT (top-supply, bottom-load) termination is the mirror of the QB version and should match how the source cabling enters the enclosure.
