- Description
The ABB 1SCA153515R1001 (OXB400E3S2QB) is a TruONE open-style automatic transfer switch rated 400 A across four poles, switching between two AC sources from 200 to 480 V. A Level 2 DIP-switch controller sets the delayed I-O-II transfer sequence, and the bottom-supply / top-load terminal layout suits switchboards fed from below.

Selection Notes
Stepping up to the 400 A frame raises both Icw to 25 kA for 0.3 s and Uimp to 12 kV compared with the 250 A chassis, headroom worth checking against upstream fault levels before specifying the smaller frame instead. The 4P configuration switches the neutral with the three phases, needed on TN-S or TT systems where the two sources must not share a bonded neutral during transfer. A DIP-switch controller sets the transfer parameters through on-board switches, the simplest of the three controller tiers available on this 400 A S-series frame. QB terminals bring supply in from the bottom and send load out the top; pick QT instead if the busbars run the other way.
