- Description
Rated for 400 A and three poles, the ABB 1SCA152049R1001 (OXB400E3X2QB) automatic transfer switch is the entry-controller member of the TruONE open-style range on this frame, covering source voltages from 200 to 480 V AC. A Level 2 DIP-switch controller sets the delayed I-O-II transfer logic, and the bottom-supply / top-load terminal layout suits feeders entering from below.

Selection Notes
Three poles without a switched neutral keep this 400 A unit narrower than the 4P S-series units on the same frame, a fit for systems where the neutral is common to both sources. Icw of 25 kA for 0.3 s and Uimp of 12 kV give this frame more fault-current margin than the 250 A chassis, worth checking against the upstream protection before downsizing. The DIP-switch controller handles transfer logic without a display, enough where the installation does not need local event history or text diagnostics. QB terminals route supply in from the bottom and load out the top; the QT version reverses this for top-fed switchboards.
