- Description
ABB's 1SCA151054R1001 (OXB630E3S2QB) is a 630 A TruONE open-style automatic transfer switch with 4-pole switching for standby and backup-power circuits. The 200-480 V AC rated unit pairs a Level 2 DIP controller with a 42 kA (0.1 s) short-time withstand current and a delayed I-O-II transfer sequence. Line terminals are bottom-fed.

Selection Notes
The switched fourth pole on this 630 A unit breaks the neutral together with the three phases, which TN-S or TT systems with multiple earth points typically need to avoid circulating neutral currents during transfer. The Level 2 DIP controller sets transfer parameters with on-board switches rather than a screen, which fits installations where the settings are configured once at commissioning and rarely changed afterward. Bottom-fed line terminals (QB) suit panels wired with incoming supply below the switch; pick the QT variant instead when busbars feed in from above. For lighter continuous-current duty, the 500 A frame in the same OXB TruONE range is the better fit where this 630 A unit would be oversized.
