- Description
The ABB 1SCA120070R1001 is an OTM125F3CMA230V motorized changeover switch rated 125 A at 3 poles, built to move a load between two sources under a 110-240 V AC/DC motor drive. Unlike ABB's Compact ATS models, it ships without a built-in control unit, so automatic switching logic comes from a separate controller wired to the motor terminals. Base mounting and a manual handle for local override are included.

Selection Notes
The 1SCA120070R1001 is the bare motorized switch of the OTM125 frame: a 110-240 V AC/DC motor operator drives the changeover, but there is no onboard controller, so the automatic transfer logic must come from a separate ATS control unit wired to the motor terminals. That split makes sense when the controller needs to be shared across several switches, mounted remotely, or specified from a third party. For a self-contained 125 A, 3-pole unit that handles its own switching logic, ABB's Compact ATS variant (C20D/C21D) is the simpler single-box option.
