Selection Notes

At 1250 A this is the higher-current 3-pole changeover switch in the range, built in the same 507 x 306 x 297 mm, 55 kg enclosure as the 1000 A unit. AC-33B motor-duty current is capped at 1000 A even though AC-21A, AC-22A, AC-23A and AC-31B all reach 1250 A, so a direct-on-line motor transfer application should be sized against that lower figure. Choose this 3-pole version over a 4-pole 1250 A switch when the installation does not need the neutral switched.
