The OT1600E04CP sits a frame size above the 1000 A OT…CP range — pick it once calculated load current passes roughly 1000 A rather than running a 1000 A switch near its thermal limit. Its 50 kA Icw is unchanged from the smaller frame, so withstand duty, not thermal current, still caps the upstream protection setting. The open-transition pistol handle and simultaneous fourth-pole switching carry over unchanged from the rest of the OT…CP family.
