Selection Notes

The OT1000E04P is a base switch-disconnector, not a change-over unit — specify it where a single source only needs isolating, not transferring between two feeds. Its 92 kA Icm making capacity is higher than the open-transition OT1000 change-over switches because this model is rated to close onto a fault per IEC 60947-3, a duty the change-over range does not need to meet. Lug terminals suit stranded cable runs better than the screw terminals used on the lighter OT…CP range.
