Selection Notes

CI541-DP-XC is a PROFIBUS DP slave head module with 14 onboard I/O points (4 AI, 2 AO, 8 DI, 8 DO) and room to extend with up to 10 additional S500 I/O modules on the same PROFIBUS node, so a single drop can grow well past its onboard count. The analog channels accept voltage, current, or RTD signals, which covers both process measurement and temperature inputs without a second module type. Choose a digital-only sibling instead when the application needs more digital I/O and no analog channels at all.
