Selection Notes

TU518-XC terminates serial-protocol interface modules on spring terminals directly, without the D-Sub connector used on some sibling terminal units — useful when field wiring lands on a terminal block rather than a pre-made D-Sub cable. It is a passive carrier with no switching or logic function of its own. Match it to the serial interface module it is rated for rather than an Ethernet or 230 V AC/relay terminal unit.
