TB5620-2ETH-XC fits applications that need two CM5xx-XC communication modules at once, for example a PROFIBUS and a PROFINET link run side by side from the same CPU; a single-protocol job only needs the one-slot TB5610, while four or six simultaneous modules call for the TB5640 or TB5660 base. The base width grows by roughly 28 mm per slot across the range, so it is also a quick way to judge panel space before ordering.
