The ABB 1SAP310300R0278 (TB5600-2ETH-XC) is an AC500-XC terminal base for AC500 V3 CPUs, with no slot for a communication module, carrying two Ethernet interfaces, one RS232/485 serial port and one CAN interface. It is the base the CPU module clips into and that mounts the field wiring terminals, rated IP20.

Selection Notes

TB5600-2ETH-XC is the no-slot base in this range, so it fits a PM56xx-XC CPU on its own without any CM5xx communication module attached; if the application needs PROFIBUS, PROFINET or Modbus TCP connectivity beyond the CPU's built-in Ethernet and serial ports, choose the TB5610, TB5620, TB5640 or TB5660 base instead, sized to the number of modules required. At 67.5 mm wide it is also the narrowest base in the family, the width growing by roughly 28 mm per added slot on the larger variants.
