The ABB 1SAP212200R0001 (TU515) is a screw-terminal I/O base for the AC500 S500 analog and 24V DC digital I/O modules, terminating field signal wiring on the DIN-rail base rather than on the module itself. That separation lets a faulty module be swapped without disturbing the field wiring. ABB rates the base IP20 and supplies the terminal electronics at 24V DC.
