Redundancy, selectivity and DC converter modules from Siemens, with over 50 products that protect 24 V DC supply systems and drive DC motors. The range includes SITOP RED1200 and PSE200U redundancy modules, SEL1200 and SEL1400 selectivity modules, and SINAMICS DCM converters up to 3000 A. Stoklink ships worldwide from Turkey and quotes project volumes on request.
What's in this range
- SITOP PSE200U and RED1200 redundancy modules for two parallel supplies.
- SITOP SEL1200 and SEL1400 selectivity modules that isolate a faulty branch.
- SITOP BUF8600 buffer modules and PSU3400 DC/DC converters.
- SINAMICS DCM 2-quadrant and 4-quadrant DC converters.
How to choose
- Redundancy module: match rated current to the supply and the total load.
- Selectivity module: pick the channel count and trip current per channel.
- DC converter: define armature voltage and current, and choose 2-quadrant or 4-quadrant.
FAQ
Why use a redundancy module?
It keeps the load running if one supply fails and stops a faulty supply from pulling down the other.
What does a selectivity module do?
It switches off only the faulty 24 V DC branch. The others stay powered.
When is a 4-quadrant DC converter needed?
When the motor must brake or reverse under power control. Otherwise 2-quadrant is enough.
