CU250S-2 PN adds PROFINET and the S (Servo) control level to the G120 CU250 family — pick it over a CU240 unit when the application needs full closed-loop vector or torque control with an encoder (DRIVE-CLiQ, HTL/TTL/SSI, or resolver via terminal) rather than open-loop V/f. Safety Integrated STO/SBC/SS1 is built in as standard; the extended safety functions and EPOS positioning both require their respective extended license per the order data, so factor that into the BOM if the application needs motion control beyond basic start/stop/speed.
