No other transponder in this family tolerates cyclic exposure above +110 degrees C up to +220 degrees C, which is the deciding factor for this heat-resistant variant over the standard-temperature cards in the same RF300 line: pick it only when the fixture genuinely sees that heat, since its 900 g mass and 114 mm diameter are far larger than the rest of the range. The Ex nC IIB T5 IECEx marking additionally qualifies it for Zone 2/22 hazardous-area mounting, which none of the other RF300 tags in this set carry.
Applications
The PPS body and IECEx rating suit RFID tracking directly on hot process fixtures, kiln cars, or heat-treatment carriers, and in Zone 2/22 hazardous areas where the skid holder or shrouding cover accessory protects the tag.
