The 124-device DP master capacity and 30,256-byte I/O range are roughly double the CP 5612/CP 5622 figures, matching it to a production master with more slaves than an engineering PG needs. DPV2 support adds isochronous and slave-to-slave data exchange, which DPV0/DPV1-only cards in this family do not offer. Choose the CP 5624 instead when both a master and a device connection are needed on the same PC.
