Selection Notes

Pick IF963-TTY when the PTP link has to cover long cable runs (up to 1000 m) or noisy wiring paths, since a current loop is inherently more tolerant of line noise than RS232. The trade-off against IF963-RS232 is speed, capped at 19.2 kbit/s instead of 115.2 kbit/s; the IF963-X27 (RS422/RS485) keeps both long reach and the higher rate if the wiring supports it.
