The Siemens 6ES7960-1FB00-0AA5 is a synchronization module for the SIMATIC S7-1500H redundant PLC system, connecting the two H-CPUs over OS1 or OS2 single-mode fiber up to 10 km with an LC optical port at 1310 nm. It plugs into each CPU's sync slot and, engineered with STEP 7 TIA Portal V15.1 or higher, draws 0.83 W typical. Cable range runs from 2 m up to 10 km.
