Selection Notes
The higher 25.2 V open-circuit / lower 70 mA short-circuit Ex(i) envelope on this 24 V/10 mA variant gives more voltage headroom than the other SM 322 output variant's 15 V/20 mA output, which suits field actuators specified at 24 V with lower current draw rather than 15 V with higher draw — match the actuator's own entity parameters (Ui, Ii, Pi) against this module's Uo 25.2 V / Io 70 mA / Po 440 mW before pairing them. The 390 Ohm maximum load resistance is nearly double the 200 Ohm limit on the lower-voltage variant, so it tolerates longer field cable runs at rated current.
