Selection Notes
At 15 V / 20 mA rated output, this module suits intrinsically safe actuators whose loop is specified for that voltage/current pair rather than the 24 V / 10 mA pair used on the other SM 322 output variant — check the actuator's own Ex(i) entity parameters against Uo 15.75 V / Io 85 mA / Po 335 mW before mixing modules on the same project. The 200 Ohm maximum load resistance sets the longest field-wiring loop the output can drive at rated current; a lower-resistance actuator leaves margin, a higher one will not reach rated current. Short-circuit protection is electronic, so a field fault trips without replacing a fuse.
