- Description
The Siemens 6ES7193-6BP00-0DA1 is a SIMATIC ET 200SP BaseUnit type A1 (BU15-P16+A0+2D/T) for mounting one I/O module with 16 push-in process terminals, rated 24 V DC and up to 10 A on the P1/P2 potential bus. It starts a new, electrically separated potential group and includes a temperature sensor for local diagnostics.

Selection Notes
This BaseUnit starts a fresh, electrically separated potential group rather than continuing the incoming one - use it at a break point where a different zone needs its own 24 V feed and fusing. A bridged-continuation BaseUnit variant in the same A1 slot type continues the existing potential group instead when no new feed is required. Both variants accept the same 16-terminal Type A1 I/O modules, so the choice is purely about potential-group segmentation, not I/O compatibility.
Applications
Forming a new 24 V potential and fusing zone within an ET 200SP station, for example separating machine sections for isolated fault protection.
