- Description
The Siemens 6ES7193-6BP00-0BU0 is a SIMATIC ET 200SP BaseUnit type U0 (BU20-P16+A0+2B) that provides push-in terminal connections for I/O modules on the ET 200SP backplane, rated 120 V DC or up to 277 V AC per process terminal, and bridged to the BaseUnit on its left to continue the existing potential group. It carries 10 A and measures 20 x 117 mm (W x H).

Selection Notes
Type U0 is a bridged BaseUnit - it continues the potential group from the BaseUnit mounted to its left instead of starting a new one, so use it mid-station where modules share the same supply zone as their neighbor, and reserve a load-group-starting type for the point where a new voltage domain begins. The 120 V DC / up to 277 V AC (480 V L-L) rating and 16 process terminals fit modules that need more I/O points per slot than the smaller 6-terminal BaseUnits.
Applications
Mid-station potential-group continuation in an ET 200SP station, a mounting slot for digital I/O modules needing 16 process terminals, and 120/277 V class distributed I/O in North American voltage systems.
