- Description
The Siemens 6ES7193-6AG00-0AA0 is a SIMATIC ET 200SP BusAdapter (BA 2xLC) that replaces the copper PROFINET port of an ET 200SP interface module with two LC glass fiber-optic ports, covering up to 3 km on 50/125 µm or 62.5/125 µm multimode fiber. It mounts directly on the interface module's BusAdapter slot at just 20 mm width.

Selection Notes
The BA 2xLC swaps the ET 200SP interface module's onboard copper PROFINET port for two LC glass fiber ports, the choice when a segment must cover up to 3 km - well beyond copper's practical reach - or route through electrically noisy plant areas immune to ground-loop interference on copper Ethernet. Glass fiber, unlike the shorter-range plastic/PCF BusAdapters in the same family, is the pick when the run genuinely needs kilometer-class distance rather than a single machine-to-panel hop. At 20 mm width and 40 g it adds no extra footprint beyond the interface module it plugs into.
Applications
Long-distance PROFINET fiber links between ET 200SP stations spread across a plant, and segments routed through high-EMI zones where copper Ethernet risks ground-loop interference.
