The Siemens 6ES7155-6AU02-0BN0 is a SIMATIC ET 200SP PROFINET interface module (IM 155-6 PN ST) that heads a decentralized I/O station of up to 32 ET 200SP modules plus 16 ET 200AL modules. It supports multi hot swapping, PROFINET IRT down to 1 ms, media redundancy (MRP/MRPD), and PROFIsafe. The integrated 2-port switch runs 100BASE-TX and draws 350 mA typical from 24 V DC.

The ST (Standard) variant supports PROFINET IRT down to 1 ms and PROFIsafe, so it works as the head module for stations mixing standard and fail-safe ET 200SP I/O without needing a separate F-capable head — the actual safety function still runs on the F-modules downstream. Multi hot swapping lets modules be replaced without powering down the station, useful where a stop for a single I/O card replacement isn't acceptable. Shared device support for up to 4 IO controllers fits stations split between a process controller and a safety or diagnostics controller on the same PROFINET segment.
