The Siemens SIMATIC ET 200MP IM 155-5 PN ST (6ES7155-5AA01-0AB0) is a PROFINET IO-Device interface module that connects up to 30 ET 200MP I/O modules to a PROFINET IO controller, with an integrated 2-port switch, IRT support down to 250us, and Media Redundancy Protocol (MRP) client capability. Selection Notes
The integrated 14W power supply (backplane infeed) lets this IM host I/O modules directly without a separate power supply, and 3 permissible power segments extend that to 30 modules per station instead of the 12-module limit without an added supply. Shared Device support for up to 2 IO Controllers and PROFINET MRP client capability suit split-ownership or ring-topology PROFINET architectures; select a station design with an additional power supply only if the connected I/O modules draw more than the 14W the integrated supply provides.
