Selection Notes
The 2 A/2 A channel rating with a High Speed output mode up to 100 kHz separates this module from a standard DQ module: the High Speed path derates current to 0.1 A, so it suits proportional-valve dithering and fast pulse trains rather than direct 2 A loads at high frequency, while the Standard output path holds the full 2 A at up to 10 kHz. Both channels share one 300 mA, 24 V encoder supply, so total sensor feedback current across the pair is the limiting factor when wiring two proportional valves with position feedback. Built-in current measurement and closed-loop current control on each channel remove the need for an external valve driver in ET 200SP stations that already run S7-1200/1500 or PROFINET/PROFIBUS masters.
