Selection Notes
The 2-wire connection needs fewer terminal points than a 4-wire RTD module but does not compensate for lead resistance -- use it when cable runs are short relative to the sensor's own resistance, and step up to the 4-wire HF variant in the same family for long runs or high-accuracy Pt100 measurement. Four independently parameterizable reference-channel groups let one module mix thermocouple types across channels without rewiring the temperature-compensation source group by group. The 200 m shielded cable length drops to 50 m for thermocouples, a limit worth checking against actual sensor routing before specifying this module on a large distributed station.
