The Siemens 3RW5245-6AC14 is a SIRIUS 3RW52 general-performance soft starter rated for an operational current of 315 A and designed for supply voltages from 200 to 480 V AC, suitable for three-phase motor installations. At 400 V the device is specified for motor power ratings up to 160 kW (inline/standard connection), with lower nominal kW at 230 V, making it appropriate for larger pumps, compressors, conveyors and other heavy-duty industrial motors where controlled starting and reduced mechanical stress are required. The unit uses three-phase soft-start control with ramp-up / ramp-down starting modes and includes an integrated bypass to reduce internal heating during run conditions. Built-in motor protection functions — including overload protection and adjustable maximum starting current — help protect the motor during start cycles and shorten troubleshooting time with features such as remote reset. This SKU is supplied with a 110–250 V control/coil supply and is offered in an IP00 enclosure configuration for fitting into control cabinets.
