The dual-colour LED lets one ring do the work of two status indicators: white for a normal, un-tripped state and red once the emergency stop is active, without extra wiring beyond the single 24 V AC/DC supply. Pick this version where the control scheme needs that visual state change at the stop button itself; a fixed single-colour red ring is enough where the ring only needs to mark the legend.
