The positive-opening NC contact, certified to IEC 60947-5-1 Appendix K, gives a mechanically guaranteed break even if the contact welds shut, which is why it is the correct choice for a safety-related stop or guard-interlock circuit rather than the plain 1 NO sibling. The built-in metal fixing collar means this reference already includes the mounting hardware that a bare ZB4BZ009 collar would otherwise supply separately.
