The Schneider Electric TMC2SL1 is a Modicon M221 serial line cartridge that adds a non-isolated RS232 or RS485 port to a Modicon M221C logic controller, supporting Modbus master/slave RTU/ASCII or SoMachine-Network communication at up to 115.2 kbit/s. Cable length is limited to 15 meters on RS485 and 3 meters on RS232, and the cartridge plugs directly into the controller with no external wiring beyond the port itself.
