Schneider Electric TM3BCEIP Modicon TM3 EtherNet/IP Bus Coupler IP20 Remote I/O Module

The Schneider Electric TM3BCEIP is a Modicon TM3 bus coupler that connects TM3 expansion I/O modules to a Modicon M221, M241, M251 or M262 logic controller over EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP. It supports daisy-chain topology at 10/100 Mbit/s with half-duplex, full-duplex and autonegotiation exchange modes, and carries an IP20 enclosure rating.

Selection Notes

Choose the TM3BCEIP when the application already runs EtherNet/IP or Modbus TCP and needs to add TM3 digital or analog I/O in a daisy-chain segment without routing every channel back to the controller's local bus. Its web server, FTP server and SNMP services support remote diagnostics over the same Ethernet segment used for the logic controller. For a Modbus RTU/RS-485 serial network instead of Ethernet, the TM3BCSL bus coupler covers that role.
