Schneider Electric TM3BCCO Modicon TM3 CANopen Bus Coupler Distributed I/O Remote I/O Module

The Schneider Electric TM3BCCO is a Modicon TM3 CANopen bus coupler that creates distributed I/O islands on a CANopen network for Modicon M241, M251 and M262 (with a smart communication module) logic and motion controllers. Powered by 24 V DC, it transmits at 20 kbit/s to 1 Mbit/s over a daisy-chain topology via two isolated RJ45 CANopen ports, with a mini-B USB port for configuration.

Choose the TM3BCCO when a machine architecture needs distributed CANopen I/O islands rather than local TM3 modules directly on the controller backplane — up to 64 bus couplers can connect to a single Modicon M241, M251 or CANopen-equipped M262 controller over the daisy-chain RJ45 network. Its 0.8 A internal supply budget covers up to 7 TM3 expansion modules per island, so panels needing more local I/O than that require a second bus coupler rather than overloading one.
