Schneider Electric TM3AI2H Modicon TM3 2 Analog High-Resolution Inputs Expansion Module PLC I/O Module

The Schneider Electric TM3AI2H is a Modicon TM3 expansion module adding 2 high-resolution analog inputs (16-bit, or 15-bit plus sign) in current (0/4...20 mA) or voltage (0...10 V, -10...10 V) ranges to Modicon M221, M241, M251 and M262 logic controllers. Powered from the controller bus or an external 24 V DC supply, it reads variable speed drives or any current/voltage-output field device with ±0.1% accuracy.

Selection Notes

Choose the TM3AI2H over a standard-resolution analog input module when measurement precision matters more than channel count — its 16-bit (15-bit + sign) resolution gives a finer LSB (0.153 mV on the 0...10 V range) than the 12-bit modules in the same TM3 range, at the cost of only 2 channels instead of 4 or 8. It suits closed-loop process signals such as precise VSD speed references or pressure/temperature transmitters where 2 channels are enough but resolution is not.
