The Schneider Electric TM241CE40T is a Modicon M241 logic controller with 40 discrete I/O — 24 inputs (8 fast) and 16 transistor outputs (4 fast, 0.5 A) — powered from 24 V DC. It runs on 64 MB system memory with a 128 MB flash backup, supports up to a 16 GB SD card, and integrates dual serial ports plus Ethernet.

Selection Notes

All 16 outputs on the TM241CE40T are transistor rather than relay, so it is the pick when every output drives 24 V DC loads — valves, indicator stacks, small DC contactors — rather than mixed-voltage or AC loads; for AC switching on the same 40-point count, use the TM241CE40R instead. Four of its outputs support 100 kHz PTO positioning, which the all-relay variant does not offer.
