Selection Notes

The TM221C40T's 16 transistor outputs switch at up to 100 kHz on Q0-Q1 (PTO/PWM/PLS), the fastest output stage in the M221 range — pick it over a relay-output sibling when the application needs pulse-train motion outputs (2 axes up to 100 kHz) rather than switching AC loads directly. With 24 inputs (4 of them 100 kHz fast counters) it fits medium machines needing more I/O density than the smaller 16 or 24-point models without moving to a rack-based M241.
